Here's a suggestion Posted By: rosecitygirl
Explain My Vote
I've repeatedly dealt with this with upstairs neighbors. Not quite the same situation since there's a lazy landlord who could get off his ass an intervene with admonishments about future noise. Yeah, that will happen. I digress.
Perhaps the solution is to create a disincentive to be loud by getting up and knocking on her bedroom door to let her know during the act that her loud noises are keeping you awake. A few nights of coitus interruptus might get her to quiet down.

She needs to go to her tricks' places to do that mess. That is disrespectful and rude since you have to be up at 7:00.

You may be wrong, OR you may be right...
First you said you were roommates. But then you said, that SHE said she has the right to do this "in her own apartment". So are you 50-50 roommates (both names on the rental agreement), or are you simply renting your room from her (the place is really in her name)?
If it's the first, then yes you are right. If it's the second and it's actually in her name, then the only right you may have would be to find another place to live. It sort of depends on which of you needs the other to be living there more.
So it all depends.

AND WHO IS SLEEPING IN MY BED Posted By: PAPA BEAR
Explain My Vote
It wold be real easy if the lease was in your name then you could just say "adios". If not ask her once more to improve her behavior. If not, speak to your landlord. Maybe he/she can helphe landlord will understand why you have had to break your lease.

Any practice of torture or other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment violates human rights standards. In 1994, Congress passed a new federal law which specifically provides for penalties including fines and up to 20 years' imprisonment for acts of torture committed by American or other officials outside the United States. In cases where torture results in death of the victim, the sentence is life imprisonment or execution.
Sleep deprivation can be used as a means of torture. Under one interrogation technique, a subject might be kept awake for several days and when finally allowed to fall asleep, suddenly awakened and questioned.

she should move the bed away from the wall, first of all. and if she's that "active" she should live alone. find a new roommate who's schedule blends better with yours.
