You don't have to ejaculate inside a girl for her not to become pregnant. Your penis excretes some liquid before and during intercourse, which helps the lubrication process. This liquid contains small amounts of sperm, which is more than enough to impregnate a woman.
Don't take her word for being safe. Go get tested together. Places like Planned Parenthood can provide this cheap or free of charge depending on your income. They also have free condoms and can provide education so neither one of you end up with an STD or unwanted baby.

I'm pretty sure you've never had sex before. A wet spot caused by cum is called (shocker) cum on the bed. The wet spot you are trying to refer to is not caused by cum, it's caused by the girls juices and any lubricants. There should not even be any dialogue about using a condom or not. If the girl does not want you to use a condom there is something wrong with her. AIDS is still live and well besides in the heat of the moment mistakes can happen.
